Introduction:
I have always had
a fascination for Disneyland Paris ever since I heard it was being built
back in the early 1990's. I had grown up around Disneyland in Anaheim
and had even visited Walt Disney World in 1992. My brother even got
me a special commemorative passport for the park that I am still waiting
to put into a frame ten years later.
As part of my second
trip to Europe in 1996, I was able to visit the park for the first time.
It was truly one of the highlights of the trip and I think I suffered
through sensory overload while I was there. I even wrote about it in
my Europe 1996 Trip Diary Many years
later, I would become an annual passholder at the original Disneyland
in Southern California. During my time as an annual passholder I also
revisited Walt Disney World in 2000. Upon
returning from Orlando, I realized I must find a way to experience Disneyland
Paris from my new perspective. In 2001, I became a cast member at the
Disneyland Resort in Anaheim and I yearned even more to see Disneyland
Paris
My friends Debbie
and Scott visited the park in January 2002 and brought back some 90
photos to add to this site. For almost six years, the best I could manage
was 12 photos. So as of January 2002 I had around 100 Pictures on the
site. Fast forward to November 2002. Through a wild stroke of luck,
Roger and I ventured to London and Paris and knew we had to go to Disneyland
Paris. The best part was armed with a Digital Camera and four empty
Smart Media Cards the sky was the limit on photos.
I have now returned
with over 200 new Disneyland Paris photos and combined them with the
best of the classic photos. In some cases, I have even tried to recreate
the same photos.
Disneyland Paris
is a magical place and I invite you to come for a visit.

The Disneyland
