Finally after several weeks of working and being lazy, I am back in the swing of things around the house and here are some of the highlights of the past week or so:
Thanksgiving with the family was pretty good. Everyone enjoyed the trip photos, though I think they were having trouble staying awake through all 500 or so photos. The food was good and it is always nice to see everyone.
I am also trying to cope with the sticker shock from my recent vacation and as a result, I have scaled back on some future plans to try and save some money. Nothing too major, but am certainly being more conscious of what I buy and where I go.
Personally, I can't believe November is just about done. I guess with coming back in the middle of the month along with the holiday right after that, it has left me a bit discombobulated.
The next week or so will be nice and slow before the holidays pick up steam, and hopefully I will get caught up.
Ooh - one last thing. I am working on something super cool for Christmas. I don't want to give much away, but if I can finish it this weekend, then I will reveal more later.
