Wireless Weather Continued

| | Comments (0)

After drooling over the $400 deluxe weather station at Fry's, I settled on the $19.95 LaCrosse Technology WS-9013U. It is pretty basic, but does provide MAX/MIN storage and wirelessly transmits up to 330 feet (without obstruction). I think when I do eventually get a house I will upgrade to the pro station that automatically updates current weather readings to the internet, but for now I am happy.

The device is currently calibrating with the US Atomic Clock and also calibrating the outdoor sensor so by this time tomorrow it should be running on its own.
