So something that I have wanted to do and be a part of for over a year has finally begun. There will be a ton of gray hear spouting, hand wringing and general ulcer producing over the next several weeks as I go through interviews and challenges from every angle.
I told myself that when this day came, I wouldn't lose focus and keep plowing ahead with my usual work and not make any mistakes. One of my friends just recently fell just right as he was getting to the finishing line (a la Zola Budd from the 84 Olympics) and I am determined to cross all my t's and dot all my i's.
Questions from the soul that need to be answered:
Why do I want to do this?
Where will this take me in my career?
What do I do as a contingency plan if I don't get what I truly want?
Let the sleepless nights and cold sweats begin!
