Web Edition: August 2008 Archives

Finally added 27 photos of the Gorn in Alberta. It's always slow going doing it the old fashioned way vs. the slick Flickr uploader I use for my travel photos. The good thing, there is always a few Gorn photos in my travel photos so you can get those pretty quick. However, there are always Gorn photos on the Gorn site that are not in the travel photos. 

I have completed the migration of the archaic What's New section into its own blog. The new URL will now be just http://www.clubjosh.com/clubhouse/new/. I have updated the links on the home page to reflect the new URL.

With this done, Now I can turn my attention to making the Club Josh Lite version updated to be automatically pulled from Movable Type. Then, it's on to building the new iPhone site! Oh and in the 10 year old idea department - Trip Diaries into MT!

Finally upgraded Movable Type to version 4.12. There were some headaches yesterday, but I think I have it all sorted out. In the meantime for some odd reason, I finally started inputting the What's New Archives into a new MT web log. So far 1995-1999 are in the new format, with 2000-2008 coming soon. I need to go through the Daily Update and see if I can cross link some updates that were missed in this section and just live there so I can have a more complete record. This new version of MT is way more user friendly than what I am used to, so I think I will finally get some of my back burner (for 10 years or so) projects done!
