I've finally
added the new Disneyland Paris photos from my recent Europe trip. I
combined them with photos from Scott and Debbie's January 2002 trip and
some of my classic photos from 1996 to create an archive of almost 300
total pictures. In addition, I was able to integrate the new Gallery
program into the existing structure of the DL Paris site. I solved the
navigation problems as well by creating a new version of Gallery for
this section alone. I will also do this with the Gorn pictures so
expect them to move around a bit. I am going to remove the old
Disneyland Paris pages and try and reduce the size of my site which is
currently over 200 MB!
34 Pictures of
the Gorn in Europe have been posted in what must be record time for
Gorn pics. Thanks to the new Gallery program, I was able to upload the
photos and create the galleries online. The only drawback to this
system is that all the photos are stored in their original size on the
server and that can add up fast. I might need to be choosy about what
photos make it up for the Trip Diaries. I am still not happy with the
navigation in the galleries (i.e. no easy way to put a link back to the
Trip Diaries or Gorn pages) so for now I'll just have to rely on people
using the back button.
